What should I expect?
If this is your first session, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete some brief paperwork. All sessions begin with a discussion to determine your goals for the session. Afterwards, I will leave the room so you can undress to your comfort level and lie on the table underneath the sheet and blanket. Please communicate with me during the massage if you are uncomfortable for any reason such as temperature, massage pressure, or music.
Do I have to undress?
Absolutely not. Massages can be performed fully clothed, with undergarments, and fully disrobed. You will always be professionally draped during the massage.
How long before I see results?
Depending on the individual and the severity of your condition, the length of time for improvement will vary. Consistency in receiving sessions as well as at-home self care is a commonly recommended strategy. For chronic conditions, a series of 5-10 sessions is recommended.
The pressure is too light or too deep. What do I do?
Please communicate with me during the massage. I'm happy to adjust the pressure and technique.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of appointment start time or you will be charged the full service price.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 2 days in advance.
Do you take insurance?
No, I do not bill insurance.
How often should I receive massage?
This depends on your wellness goals and your condition. Clients often come for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly sessions. I am happy to create a treatment plan with you for your upcoming sessions, so we can aim to achieve your wellness goals.
